Giulia is post-degree researcher at EIEE. She has just obtained a MSc in Energy Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, with a thesis on the role of Direct Air Capture and Negative Emission Technologies in deep mitigation pathways, using integrated assessment models. During her thesis work, she has spent some months as a visiting student at Imperial College London. Her main research focus is on energy modeling, with a technical perspective, and negative emission technologies. She is part of Alta Scuola Politecnica, a joint program between Politecnico di Milano and Politecnico di Torino, involving 150 selected engineers, architects and designers with a focus on innovation and the development of interdisciplinary skills.
