Nkongho Ayuketang Arreyndip

Nkongho Ayuketang Arreyndip is a senior climate impact researcher at CMCC Venice and Ca' Foscari University of Venice, Italy. He holds a PhD in Physics and has over 10 years of university teaching experience. As a transdisciplinary researcher, his interests include atmospheric physics and chemistry, climate extremes attribution and mapping, aerosol optical modelling and cloud microphysics, and the impacts of climate change on agriculture, renewable energy, and the economy. He is highly experienced in research project design and securing external funding. He has won the prestigious Marie Sklodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Research Grant at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, Italy, and two Alexander von Humboldt Postdoctoral Fellowships at PIK-Potsdam and TU Darmstadt. He has a strong background in mathematical and numerical modelling, statistical analysis, and machine and deep learning using Python and R. He also works with FORTRAN and Linux operating systems in high-performance computing (HPC) environments.
