Carole Green

Carole Green works as a research assistant with CMCC on the Horizon-funded IDAlert project to support the development of the DSC Adapt tool - Disease-smart adaptation tool for policymakers. Carole has a background in climate and health research, including working as fellow for the WG2 of Lancet Countdown on Adaptation, Planning, and Resilience for Health. She got her Masters degree in Public Health in 2023 winning the Gil Omenn, top of school award, upon graduation. After her masters Carole worked in Western Australia on a Heat Vulnerability project, where heat vulnerability was mapped for the state and at-risk communities were partnered with to work towards heat resilient actions like formalized 'cool spaces'. Currently she is working towards her PhD with University of Washington while working with CMCC.
