Elena Ruffato

Elena graduated cum laude in Comparative International Relations at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice. She concluded her studies with a thesis entitled: "Climate change as a threat multiplier: how Al-Shabaab takes advantage of a warming climate in Somalia". Previously graduated in Foreign languages, she collaborates with a study centre writing articles about climate change, sustainable energy transition and terrorism. Previously, she worked as Event, Project and Administration Manager for the Representation Office of the European Region Tyrol- South Tyrol-Trentino located in Brussels. Passionate about geopolitics, climate change, sustainability but also loves art, travels, outdoor sports to stay in contact with the nature.
