
Frederik Holtel
Frederik Holtel is a doctoral researcher in environmental economics at RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau, where he has been pursuing his PhD since October 2023. His research interests include data science, spatial economics, carbon dioxide removal, and solar radiation management. As a visiting PhD student at EIEE, he works on integrated assessment models. He holds a double master’s degree in International Economic Policy and Political Science from Sciences Po Paris and Freie Universität Berlin, complemented by undergraduate studies in economics and international relations. Prior to his doctoral studies, he gained professional experience at the German Development Cooperation (GIZ), the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), and the WZB Berlin Social Science Center.
