Maruf Sanni is scientist at EIEE and works with the National Centre for Technology Management, Nigeria as a researcher in the Science, Policy and Innovation Studies department. He holds a PhD degree in Public Policy with special interest in low-carbon innovation development pathways and climate-resilient development. He has worked with the United Nations Development Programme as home-based intern and the United Nations University Institute for Natural Resources in Africa, Ghana as a visiting scholar. He is currently a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Fellow at RFF CMCC European Institute on Economics and the Environment, Milan, Italy. His project, ECO-innovation and the Dynamics of External Knowledge Sourcing (ECO-DEKS) examines the dynamics of alliance portfolio for eco-innovation in the manufacturing and service sectors in the developing countries. He is investigating points of departure or convergence between the two sectors in open eco-innovation studies.
