The 44th International Energy Workshop (IEW) will be held at the University of Cape Town, South Africa, from 22 to 24 June 2026.
The IEW is a leading forum for the international energy modelling community, bringing together scholars and researchers to compare modelling tools, discuss methodological advances, and track emerging trends in the global energy sector. In a world of growing environmental and economic complexity, energy modelling is an increasingly vital tool for sound planning and policy-making.
This year’s edition is hosted by the Energy Systems Research Group (ESRG) at the University of Cape Town.
