Climate Neutrality Forum

Bringing together leading researchers, policymakers and practitioners working on achieving climate neutrality, the meeting will take place simultaneously at three hubs – Berlin, Milan and Oxford – linked together to create a blended event that is both in-person and virtual in nature.

Delegates will be drawn from academic, policy, civil society and business communities. The objective is to identify a suite of high-impact policy recommendations. These will be presented ahead of the COP26 meeting with the aim of raising ambition.

With in-person participation at the three hub locations and online, this multi-hub blended meeting is designed to showcase how international events can be conducted in a way that is consistent with a transition to a zero-emission future.

We recognise the value of in-person meetings to enable the serendipity that comes from bringing people together from a range of viewpoints. Therefore, we will seek to enhance this with online networking between participants in the three locations.

This event will be co-hosted by the Mercator Research Institute on Global Commons and Climate Change (Berlin), the RFF-CMCC European Institute on Economics and the Environment (Milan) and Oxford Net Zero at the University of Oxford (Oxford).

We are grateful for support from JPI-Climate and the ClimateWorks Foundation which has made this meeting possible.
